Introduction

'A contextual research of The French New Wave, between 1951 to 1961'

For this contextual research I will be looking at The French New Wave. The films that I will be looking at are The 400 Blows (Led quitter cents coups)-1959, Breathless (about de soufflé)- 1960, A woman is a woman (Une femme best une femme)-1961.  I will be looking at the social condition of the production of the films and the cultural impact. Also looking at the movement of the films and how they are breaking the rules of film
